Get ready for giggles, games and a whole lot of frosty fun! The Ha Ha Ha KidzFest Family Zone transforms Main Street into a winter wonderland packed with activities that will delight kids (and kids at heart).
From snow science experiments to inflatable games, it’s the perfect place for families to play and explore — all for free!
Frost Fest Story & Song Trolley – Hop aboard the Frost Fest Trolley and enjoy stories and sing-alongs with live entertainers while you take a drive along Lakeshore Drive. This short loop will happen continuously throughout the day with loading happening at the north end of Main Street. *All children must be accompanied by an adult to participate in this activity. Sponsored by Grape Savvy Wine Tours.Hot Chocolate Village – Warm up with a sweet treat between activities. Make a donation and receive your hot chocolate punch card to be able to sample up to 4 delicious hot chocolate specials created by local cafes. After you are done your tastings, vote for your favourite! Sponsored by One14 Coffee, Blenz Coffee, Second Cup, Sociale Restaurant and Wayne+Freda.
Winter Science Zone – Watch your little scientists light up with hands-on experiments that make learning fun (and a little messy). Sponsored by
Okanagan Science Centre.
Bandshell Sledding Hill – Bring your own sled and take a ride from the bandshell stage. Supervision provided by
Penticton Cadets.
Gingerbread House Building – Design and create your own gingerbread house to take home. Sponsored by
Costco Kelowna.
Photo Ops – Get your photo in the famous Frost Fest Photo Boards created by local artist
Endrene Shepherd.
Warming Tent – Feeling the chill? Come to the warming tent! A great place for a break from the action while enjoying some entertainment and quieter activities. See the schedule on site for entertainment listings.
Mini Curling Rink – A kid-sized version of Canada’s favorite sport! Sponsored by Penticton Curling Club.
Inflatables and Games – Enjoy fun activations for all ages on Main Street and in Gyro Park. With support by

Build a Frosty Friend – Continue the Frost Fest tradition and build your own Frosty stuffed animal with a custom neck tag to remember your time at the festival. Every year, you can choose a new animal to build your own collection. (Cost = minimum donation of $10 to participate in this activity). With support from
Par-t-Perfect.
Frosty Obstacle Course – Try to overcome the obstacles in the Frosty Obstacle Course designed and presented by
Penticton Youth Council.
Winter Disc Golf – Discover the fun of disc golf thanks to Just 4 Fun.
Fire Pits – Warm yourself around the campfire and enjoy a moment of quiet amidst all the excitement.
Evening Hot Cider – As the Family Zone comes to a close at the end of the day, come to the Kidzfest tent and enjoy a cup of hot cider as you prepare to make your way over to the Rail Jam competition in the park.
